Privacy Policy
I will collect limited data including name and contact details (phone number, email address, postal address) for the purpose of arranging services.
Emails and text messages relating to these arrangements will be destroyed once the service has been delivered or counselling / supervision has ceased.

Clients who arrange one-to-one counselling and supervision may be asked for details of any medical conditions and GP contact details. This information will be used in case of a medical emergency within the session and may be passed on to the emergency services if requested.

Additionally, details of sessions booked and attended will be kept for monitoring and accounting purposes. In some circumstances brief factual details from sessions may be recorded as an aide memoir. The content of these sessions will remain confidential with the following exceptions:
• I am legally bound to break confidentiality, where an individual discloses that they are involved in Terrorism, Drug Trafficking or Money Laundering. This information will be passed on to the Police.
• Where an individual discloses that they are at risk of harming themselves or others. Where possible any breach in confidentiality will be discussed with the individual in advance. Where this is not possible or not agreed and it is believed that there is a significant risk, we will contact the relevant authorities (Police or medical professionals) • A child is at risk (Children’s Act 2004)

All information shall be stored securely in a locked filing cabinet which shall be kept in the home office or in a password protected document stored on a password protected computer. Information shall be kept for a period of five years following the last contact, at which point it will be destroyed securely.
You may request to see any information held about you at any time.
