Cancellation Policy

I appreciate that we may experience unexpected events that can impact on your attendance if you experience a life-changing event at the time of your session, accommodations will be made. Otherwise, the following will be adhered –

 

• Only one free 30-minute session via the telephone will be offered. If you do not attend, you can choose to contact me and book another appointment at the cost of £25.00.

• Counselling will take place by mutual agreement.

• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will still be charged for.   

• In the event of a session being cancelled by the counsellor, no charge will be made.   

• Whilst cancellations may be unavoidable, it is recognised that counselling relies on consistent attendance. Should there be two or more cancellations, we agree to discuss whether it is the right time to continue.  

• Sessions that are paid for and subsequently DNA’d (Did Not Attend without notice) will not be rescheduled and are non-refundable. Should you not contact me within 24 hours of a missed appointment, I will assume that you no longer wish to attend therapy and the contract will be concluded.
